Kiri Kiri, hands down, became one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I ordered a Korean corn dog half mozzarella half sausage with potatoes which had a lovely salty and savory flavor. The cheese was gooey with a cool cheese pull, the potatoes were fried perfectly, and the sausage paired really well with the cheese and breading. I also had the red hot Sotteok-Sotteok which was a kabob of fried rice cake and mini sausage. It was soooooo good. My spice tolerance is pretty high, so I personally didn’t feel the heat, but the sauce was still very delicious. Finally, my husband ordered the sweet onion half chicken. It was absolutely beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. The fried chicken smothered in sweet white onion was beyond perfect. The chicken had a fresh, juicy, savory flavor and paired really well with the saucy, sweet onions. I would like to say that the workers and owners were also very sweet and the store looked very clean as well! I was really disappointed with the fried Korean chicken this time. The crust was overcooked and greasy, which made it unpleasant to eat. It also seemed like the chicken had been fried multiple times, and the meat did not taste fresh—almost like it was from the day before. What makes this more frustrating is that our previous visit was actually very good, so the drop in quality was surprising. Unfortunately, this experience was not good at all. I hope the restaurant can improve and standardize the quality of their food, because consistency really matters.

Kiri Kiri in McAllen is a must try!! The food was amazing and the service was awesome! They have board games available to play at your table which made the experience even more family friendly. Our service was amazing and everyone was so accommodating! The chicken is so incredibly juicy and flavorful. I highly recommend the soy garlic strips and the Korean corn dogs! 🍲 Food: Garlic soy chicken, Korean corn dogs, sweet and spicy chicken 🏡 Atmosphere: Fun and family friendly 🛎️ Service: Incredibly accommodating and friendly 💰 Price: Very affordable

I stopped by and ordered the curly fries along with the sweet and spicy wings, and both were absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were generous, so it’s great for sharing or for a hearty meal. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, with friendly staff who were quick to take my order and make sure everything came out hot and fresh. If you’re craving Korean fried chicken in McAllen, Kiri Kiri is the place to go.

We loved it! A friend recommended the place and we were really impressed with the quality of the chicken and speedy service. The young lady in the front was really nice and let us take our time looking at the menu since it was our first time there. The whole place smelled good 😊 We ended up getting the Parmesan and sweet and spicy chicken with an order of curly fries on the side. It was awesome! It wasn't greasy and it sat well even though we pigged out. The music was kind of loud at times. Not a fan of kpop but that's besides the point. We kind of had to speak loud at times and we were across from each other. The metal chairs are pretty uncomfortable for long periods of time, but overall it was a great experience! 5 stars mang!
